Germantown Navajo Sampler

All 4-ply germantown yarn on cotton string foundation, this extremely graphic weaving dates to 1890 – 1910. It has a few small moth chews, but is in otherwise fine condition. It is uncertain if these were made as pillow tops or are just miniature rugs / blankets. It is 21” square, no A/B side, and has an external Navajo selvedge cord.
