Item 14

(Item: ACCAND)
Acoma Pottery Chamberstick

This is a wonderful example of this form, so much so, that it is illlustrated in the book "Collections Of Southwestern Pottery" on page 21, item # 12. The stick was probably made in the 1950's and measures approximately 5" in diameter. The bottom is painted, Acoma, New Mexico. It is in good condition, no cracks or chips, but has some darkening on the socket from the firing.
