Zuni Frog Bowl
This rare and unusual bowl measures 8” across at its widest point and is 31/2” tall. It is unusual in that one quadrant of the bowl is not terraced as are the other three. It is paint decorated with tadpoles on the interior and the exterior, symbols of transformation, and with an applied frog in the center of the bowl. See the article in American Indian Art Magazine, Volume 27, #3, Summer 2002 for similar examples. Circa 1900 – 1910 and in excellent condition
