Mahal Carpet, 13'6" x 11'2"

Made in Persia in the last quarter of the 19th century, this magnificint carpet represents the high point of antique carpet design. The colors are jewel tones and weave is fine and compact for a rug of this type. The carpet has been professionally restored and areas of this highly decorative rug have been retouched to recapture its original beauty. The ends and sides are intact.
