Sea Captain's Trunk

All dovetailed, cherry captain's trunk C 1850. The outside of the top is covered in old sail cloth and tacked on with brass star headed tacks. The inside of the top is hand painted in blue and white depicting a square rigged vessel with 3 masts and sails. The chest measures 18" deep, by 20" high with the lid closed, by 39" wide at the base and truncates to 36" wide at the top.
