Nez Pierce Beaded Doll Cradle This ca. 1880 Plateau doll cradle measures 24" in legnth and is 9" wide. The beadwork is sinew sewn with a spot stitch technique and executed on tent canvas. There is a doll with a beaded face that is wrapped in trade cloth. There is also a stroud cloth canopy over the doll. It is in excellent condition, no bead loss, and slight wear to the edges of the cloth at the lower corners and around the canopy. A fine and rare example of the care and love expressed in the toys that mothers made for their daughters. $8,500.00
