This finely drawn and decorated Acoma Pueblo Indian Pottery canteen has twisted handles and a nice patina. It was found last week on a trip through the Pacific Northwest in a small shop. It measure 8" or just a hair under, and is in great condition. There is a flat area on the lower back side so that it will sit flat against a wall when hung. No chips or cracks. It may be younger than 1940, but has some age. Dating this material is an inexact science at best.
